Evolution has humanity rising from Swamp Goo, which Darwin and others named primordial soup. It depicts our origin and development as being; From Goo, to You, via the Zoo. The theory itself is immensely speculative, needing a step of faith, at least equal to that which is required to believe in God.
The damage that this scientific supposition has caused over the last century is immeasurable, and the souls lost in the process are innumerable. Since Evolution became compulsory curriculum in our schools, Australia has been re-classified from a Christian to a Secular Atheist Nation by the United Nations. But its Christian status is not its only casualty.
Evolution’s depreciative theory leaves humanity without an honourable Origin, a questionable Purpose and non-existent Destiny. With it our accidental lives are a somewhat meaningless eighty something years here, and then nothing. This has contributed greatly to hedonistic secularism, with its ensuing result of hate, violence, murder and suicide, typically evolving from a self-centred society with diminished morals and notional love.
Evolution’s primary doctrine; survival of the fittest, has become the basis for the mess that is the sure result of an egocentric Godless existence. Conversely the Christian belief offers a much more optimistic and reassuring outlook and life. It endows man with an Intelligent origin and design by a loving God, it gives him an unquestionable reason to live, and assures him of an eternal existence within a universal family. Without a meaningful Faith and Hope, life is inconsequential and fundamentally empty.
The good book concludes: “The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. And in doing so became corrupt, full of selfish works, until there was none that did any good.” Psalm 14:1
